If you still feel that you would like purchase this item even after my words of determent, go right ahead.but don't say I didn't warn you my dear. I WISH I could return this item as the cooling fan now sounds like it is on its last leg and could possibly catch on fire.
As you will read in many reviews, the charging component requires you to remove or maneuver the wrist strap in order for the remote to make contact with the chargers. Once contact is achieved, you will have to duct tape the remote in place in order for it to stay on the charger.
I purchased this item almost a year ago to the day and wish I opted for something a little better. The on/off switch is only for the "dazzling" blue light.
NOT GOOD AT ALL. In order to turn the component off you must unplug the power cord in the back.
If you have read this, I plead with you to save your money and order something other than this. :)
We have been using this item since Christmas. The fan does not need to be on to charge the batteries. It is nice combo unit that takes up very little space. The switch on the back turns the fan on or off. The two included rechargeable batteries make this a very good value. I would certainly recommend this item to anybody looking for a charging and cooling solution.
The Wii Charger Cooler w/ battery packs was a very good buy.Fast shipping. My ONLY PROBLEM was I ordered 2,they only shipped 1.I had NO PROBLEM getting my credit back for the 2nd 1,it was going to be a GIFT.OVERALL GREAT ITEM.THANKS
We got a wii for christmas, and went through batteries like water. We let the initial charge go for 24 hours, and when we used the controllers, the charge lasted about 15 minutes. I decided to buy a charger for the controllers, and I chose this one. It does not work. We are back to using regular batteries. This was a total waste of money.
The batteries dont last too much , In only a week a have to replace the recharge batteries for a normal ones.
